Andrei Shiller

Andrei Shiller's story starts in Kazakhstan, where he spent his earliest years in a baby house before his adoption brought him to America. He keeps that chapter short when he tells it, but it defined how he works: someone once took the time to hear his story, and he has never forgotten what that kind of attention can do for a person.

The years since built the skill set NorthStar runs on. Selling roofs door-to-door taught him how trust gets earned with a stranger in the first minute. Installing car audio taught him that the owner of a Honda Civic cares about their car every bit as much as the owner of a Ferrari, and deserves the same standard of work. Running nonprofit crews restoring native landscape for underserved communities taught him how to lead a team when the work is done for people who may never know your name. ROTC and years captaining competitive soccer teams added the discipline underneath it all: being responsible for the people beside you.

Today, Andrei is a Co-Founder of NorthStar, where he works directly with business owners across Maryland. He sits in the Discovery conversations, charts the roadmaps, and stays through the build until the work is finished and in the owner's name. His leadership runs on one habit: understanding the why behind every person he meets, because each one has a story worth hearing.

That belief is what NorthStar is made of: a firm that starts by listening, because someone once took the time to listen to him.
